Greetings Altair Shipmates.  Shipmate Dick Stader reports the following preliminary reunion information:

"The 2018 Altair reunion will be held in Nashville, Tenn. October 9th. through October 13th."  With this info, you can start to make preliminary plans to attend.  As soon as additional hotel info and final costs, forms, etc., I will forward all  the information to the shipmates.

Greetings Altair Shipmates.  Here is your monthly report for February 2018.

THE SUN:  After seemingly weeks and weeks, the sun is shining this morning after seemingly weeks and weeks of perpetual rain.

SHIPMATE PASSING:  I am sad to report the passing of Shipmate Hans J. Swierski. Shipmate Swierski was aboard 1963 thru 1966 as an EN2.  Condolences can be sent to

FINANCES:  The beginning cash-on-hand balance was $500.80 with an expense of $20.00 for the Altair email address renewal leaving a balance of $480.80.  The beginning balance of the Altair savings was $10,210.04 plus interest of $19.15 leaving a balance of $10,229.19; total balance is $10,709.99.
